Narrow Driveway Notice

The Milford Township Fire Department asks that your driveways follow the 12ft minimum width and 13ft minimum height measurement requirements for emergency vehicle access. 

Overgrown trees and shrubbery, low-hanging canopies, narrow driveways, and structurally unsound bridges are problems that are important to address at your residency to ensure emergency vehicle access. 

Please complete the necessary adjustments to ensure the best safety of the people and property at your residence in an emergency situation.

Emergency Medical Services

For a medical emergency, call 911. Emergency medical services for Milford Township are handled by the Butler County EMS. For non-emergency questions and information, please call: (513)-785-1000

Weather Sirens

Milford Township shares borders with neighboring communities equipped with weather sirens. Within the township itself, there are three strategically located sirens: one in Darrtown, another in Collinsville, and the third in Somerville. These sirens serve as vital tools in alerting residents to impending severe weather conditions, as each is activated in the event of a weather warning.

Not a "Safe Haven" for Infants

The Milford Township Fire Department does not function as a designated "safe haven" for infants due to its lack of emergency medical services However, numerous alternative resources throughout Butler County exist to seek out locations that serve as safe havens for infants, including hospitals and other designated facilities. These locations are equipped to provide the necessary care and support for infants in need of assistance. No Medication Disposal

The Milford Township Fire Department does not accept medications for disposal. The Butler County Sheriffs Office offers a drug disposal box. For more information, please visit this website.
