New Residents

Township Government 

In Ohio, each county is divided into townships, a form of local government led by three trustees and one fiscal officer. Trustees and fiscal officers are elected officials with four-year terms. State law grants Ohio townships the authority to operate with a basic government structure, and to carry out a broad spectrum of responsibilities. Milford Township manages roads, fire protection, cemeteries, and parks. ​

Milford Township is in the Talawanda School District. The high school and middle school is located in Oxford, Ohio. There are three elementary schools, two in Oxford Ohio, and one—Bogan Elementary—in Milford Township. To learn more, please visit the Talawanda School District website. ​​
