Rental Information
The Milford Township Community Center is a hub for various activities, events, and gatherings, such as 4-H meetings, local music groups, family reunions, weddings, and more. The center serves as an important place for fostering community engagement. The Township Trustee Meetings are held in the community center on the first Tuesday of every month at 7pm, meetings are open to the public.

The site of the former Marie Schmidt School, the community center property was originally 6 acres, and has since expanded to nearly 20 acres, including a park with a picnic shelter, playground, and walking trail. The community center was acquired by the township for $1.00 when the Talawanda Board of Education closed several rural schools.

Community Center Spaces

The community center provides a blend of historic charm and modern amenities. The older section of the building, constructed in the 1920s, encompasses 4,400 square feet and is ideal for various activities with its multi-purpose rooms. The newer section, added in the 1980s, spans 3,300 square feet and features a large gathering room and a full-service kitchen, making it perfect for meetings, parties, family reunions, receptions, and more. The township has invested in several improvements to the community center through the help of grants, including infrastructure repairs, elevator installation, parking lot expansion, and playground equipment, making it an accessible space for all.
